SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed about the high range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage developed for intervention encounters a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this status sassa reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
